Woodlands Warriors Basketball Club is non-profit club run by volunteer parents. We strive to keep the costs of playing to a minimum to encourage children to participate in a team sport from a young age. With the majority of our players coming from Woodlands Primary School although we are independent from the school itself. However we welcome new players from the local area if they would like to join our club. We participate in the local Frankston District Basketball Association junior competition. Our expansion in numbers over the past few years, has made us become on of the biggest clubs in the area. And as a club committed to participating in both the Winter and Summer seasons each year, we have had large success over the past few years.
We now have 50 teams in all year levels from U8 to U14s. From this year, players wanting to continue on as Warriors, it is now extending into U16, U18 or U21 age groups aswell. We always have teams for both girls and boys from Prep age, allowing children to begin playing as young as they possibly can.
